History

1981

Biolog-animal was created in 1981 under the name “Réseaumatique”. Our main activity was to develop a tele-transmission network for orders between pharmacists, wholesale distributors and pharmaceutical laboratories. We also developed the first point-of-sale terminals.

1995

In 1995, we launched the RFID business and in 1999 we obtained ISO 11784/11785 certification for portable readers and fixed antennas for animals.

1999

From 1999 to 2002, we developed the first traceability applications on portable field terminals for farm animals.
We also launched reader antennas adapted to the agri-food environment.

2007

In 2007, we obtained approval from the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food to market our identification systems to veterinarians. This system is adapted for the following species: wild, domestic and equine animals.

Then in 2010, we launched the smallest chip on the market, the Tiny chip, with the approval of the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

2010

In 2010, Réseaumatique changed its name and became Biolog-id.

2013

In 2013, we obtained ISO 9001: 2008 certification.

2017

At the end of 2017, we launched the “Biolog-Temperature” chip to get the identification number and temperature of animals using telemetry.

2018

In 2018, we marketed Biolog-Nano and obtained new approval from the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food for the identification of wild animals.

2018

For the agri-animal division, Biolog-id registered its Biolog-animal brand.
